Rabbi Henoch Plotnik
Yemei Ahavah
It has been a difficult time for us, the Jewish community of Chicago. The last few weeks have brought us the passing of two rebbetzins of renown, a teenage metzuyenes in the most promising period of her life, as well as another ishah chashuvah in her own right. We have all stood in awe and respect, as well as fear and trepidation, as we hear the virtues, accomplishments and influences everyone had on their families and friends, and, in some cases, the global neighborhood. Ha’omer le’olamo dai, yomer letzaroseinu dai. We are exhausted with grief.
